If your child hasn’t submitted a UCAS application yet or has applied to other institutions through UCAS but not used all 5 of their choices, they have until 30 June to apply for up to five courses at the same time.
Register at UCAS to start an application.
Check out UCAS
If they’ve already applied through UCAS and used all five choices, there are two alternative options:
UCAS Extra and Clearing.
UCAS Extra gives the applicant the chance to add another choice to their UCAS application.
Discover how to use UCAS Extra here.
If they have missed their conditions or had a change of heart about their offers, clearing provides another opportunity to secure their dream place. Clearing matches the applicant with university places that are yet to be filled.
Discover more about applying through clearing from 5 July here.
“The course has been amazing for unlocking future possibilities in fields I never knew I wanted to work in.
The tutors are also always there to help with questions and have a genuine passion for seeing students do well.”
- Shane Wood, Level 6 Game Development and Production
Once they’ve found a course they’re interested in, there’s two easy routes to applying.
Apply through UCAS
if they are interested in any full-time undergraduate courses, except Teacher Training.
Apply direct via our website
if they are a part-time or teacher training applicant. Our direct application form is found on the relevant course pages.
Once submitted, our Admissions Office will process their application. If they submit through UCAS, once the application has been carefully considered, you’ll find out if they have received an offer through the UCAS Hub.
As a University Centre Leeds student, your child will have access to learning, wellbeing, careers and financial support, all designed to suit their needs and ensure their experience is as enriching and stress-free as possible.
